BMW Social Story of Sound

Creative Objective: Take a video branded story and create a chapter narrative experience that can be shared on social channels and can be sliced up and reordered to meet the clients message and KPI’s.

The creative intention of this work was to take a lean back branded video experience and turn it into a small engaging social story. I researched what we seeing on Intragram stories and Snap stories, as well as what was being created for Tik Tok. I wanted to find a way to mimic what you were seeing on these platforms and create what i like to call a chaptered experience. An experience that allows the users to control the pacing at the same time engaging them with a rich visual experience.

I took the final edited 1920×1080 video and recut and styled the new creative. I then worked with one of my Motion graphics artist where i provided him with key art and style direction for the kinetic type to deliver an experience that is aware of the device it is on. The goal was to watch read and enjoy, fittingly a story about sound that could be viewed without.
