Creative Objective: Update the Courageous Logo.

In 2015, Courageous Studios set sail under the umbrella of CNN’s Brand Studio. Rooted in the visionary spirit of Ted Turner and inspired by his daring personal journey, the studio drew its name from his iconic sailboat, a vessel that triumphantly claimed the World Cup. At its inception, Courageous Studios introduced the world to the distinctive Courageous Sails logo.

As time flowed, so did the brand’s identity, and the principles it embodied began to evolve alongside it. The logo, initially crafted as the emblematic face of Courageous, embarked on its own transformative journey. It became more than a symbol; it became the living embodiment of the studio’s creative evolution and growth.

Fast-forward to 2019-2020, a pivotal moment. I recognized the need for a new branding approach—one that not only reflected Couragoeus’ transformation but also acknowledged the evolving landscape of brand representation. It was time to chart a course towards a fresh horizon, one that would encapsulate the dynamic essence of Courageous and the modern era of brand identity.
